Jewelry care is important to consider for gold plated pieces. In order to preserve quality at its longest term, be sure to take jewelry off when you’re swimming, or showering. Chemicals in the water or from cleaning products will eat away at gold, especially chlorine. When taken off, store it in a location away from sunlight.
